Levi's Stadium runs on a southeast axis through Santa Clara's flat, open sprawl, and it has had a reputation for sun since the day it opened: the suite and press tower lines the west sideline, which leaves the big seating banks opposite it staring into the afternoon light with very little between them and the sky.
