Of the venues we have mapped, Wirrig Pavilion runs on the sunnier side. At 7:00 PM in high summer the sun is still about 20 degrees up in the west-northwest, higher than at many venues at that hour, which is part of why the lawn stays lit. The payoff is a long, slow improvement as the sun finally sinks toward that 9:00 PM sunset.
